Enjoying the Veluwe. A beautiful place, our thatched guesthouse with sauna in forest and heather-rich nature reserve. On the ground floor is the kitchen with fireplace, patio doors facing south and the bathroom with modern plumbing and traditional sauna. Upstairs is a cozy lounge area with (sofa bed) and a separate cozy bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed. On the landing is another 1 person box spring mattress available. Super location for a few days forest & heath & IJssel near Zwolle, Apeldoorn and Deventer
Nature and surroundings
Do you enjoy hiking or biking? Nearby are heathland, forest and wetlands. There are many possibilities directly from the plot as heath Renderklippen, hiking, Majuba, the hidden village in Vierhouten, and for water lovers the Heerderstrand and the IJssel. On the bike you can enjoy forest, heathland, shifting sands, estates and a vast floodplain landscape along the IJssel. The landscape is very varied. Epe is an ideal destination for wildlife spotting in the Veluwe. The boars we like to keep away from the yard but are numerous in the outskirts of Epe. You can also encounter red deer, roe deer and a fox on a walk from the plot. The squirrels live in the yard , as well as many birds .The crown domains are easily accessible.
