In the middle of the beautiful Frisian scenery, on an old cobblestone road, lies our head-hull farmhouse. It stands for refuge and was given by one of the first residents. The farmhouse dates from 1886. We ourselves live in the barn converted into a home and have made the front house into a luxury residence while preserving old elements and details. If you like hiking, biking, water sports or motorcycling then you have come to the right place! The apartment includes a kitchen with microwave / oven, electric stove and refrigerator. Furthermore, the accommodation has private bathroom with shower and toilet. From the living / bedrooms you have beautiful views of the beautifully landscaped ornamental garden and farmlands. Outside there is a private terrace with garden furniture for 4 persons and a fireplace where you can enjoy a drink by your own fire.
Nature and surroundings
At 8km Scherjon clog factory and museum and the fierlepolder. National park the Alde Feanen at 9km. AquaZoo is 10km away the Spitkeet at 4km and beautiful petting zoo at 8 km. Furthermore, it is definitely recommended to visit the cities of Leeuwarden and Dokkum. Or go for example a day to the one of the Wadden Islands.
