This homely furnished spacious detached vacation home with barn and private parking is located on the small and quiet park in the picturesque farming village of Boijl, on the border of Drenthe and Friesland. The vacation home has a spacious sheltered garden with terrace and lawn, lots of privacy! Suitable for 4-6 persons and 1 pet allowed. THIS IS A NON SMOKING HOUSE! DESCRIPTION LIVING AREA - Ground floor: spacious living room with sliding doors, kitchen, utility room, bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, bedroom with bunk beds - 1st floor: landing with two single beds, large bedroom with double bed, bathroom with bath, shower and sink. Equipped with central heating system and fully furnished with washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer, Senseo coffee machine, microwave/oven, kitchen utensils, etc. Please bring your own bed linen. A short distance away is a sauna complex, swimming pool and recreational lake.
Nature and surroundings
The rural village of Boijl is surrounded by Friesian meadows and Drenthe forests and lies on the edge of the National Park the Drentse Friese Wold. In the middle of the Colonies of Weldadigheid which recently received UNESCO World Heritage status. The three colonies Frederiksoord, Veenhuizen and Wilhelminaoord are definitely worth a visit. A beautiful walking and cycling area with varied landscapes of forest, heath and peat. The surrounding Frisian and Drenthe villages are Borger, Diever, Appelscha, Vledder, Noordwolde and Dwingeloo which are well worth a visit and where there are many restaurants and plenty of activities.

Nice cottage not very large and not super clean

Buiten verwachting goed schoon huisje. Rustig park en perfect om te verblijven
Natuur op paar kilometer afstand erg fraai. Doldesumerveld heeft vanuit schaapskooi pracht wandeling van 7 km.

Huisje zelf was wat onverzorgd. Tafel en stoelen buiten: niet schoon. Oprit: klinkers op een aantal plekken niet recht. Douche beneden onhandig - water loopt zo over dorpel (stukje douchegordijn ophangen?). Boven badkamer onhandig en geen verlichting erin. Trap naar boven: treden glad glanzend geverfd - gevaarlijk.
We zouden dit huisje niet weer huren tenzij punten verbeterd worden.Prima
