Nature house in STOSSWIHR

We had a very relaxed and, despite the rather rainy weather at the beginning of April, a wonderful time in Stosswihr and would love to come back! We can only recommend Annemarie Kempf's accommodation.

Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte und trotz des Anfang April leider eher regnerischen Wetters schöne Zeit in Stosswihr und kommen sehr gerne wieder! Die Unterkunft von Annemarie Kempf können wir nur empfehlen.

The village of Stosswihr offers peace, relaxation and is a good starting point for hikes in the Vosges (e.g. from the Col de la Schlucht); on the other hand, it is not far from Colmar and the numerous half-timbered towns of Alsace and close to the Alsace Wine Route. The location in the Munster Valley is beautiful and partly reminiscent of the Alpine foothills. A visit to the museum of the Maison du Fromage in Gunsbach, where everything revolves around the production of Munster, is also recommended. The well-kept vacation apartment is located on the upper floor of the hostess's house. It is very spacious, with a large and a smaller bedroom, a living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchen, albeit without a dishwasher (but that didn't bother us). There are two bakeries within walking distance. Our hostess gave us a very warm welcome and was always ready to help with any questions we had. We enjoyed our time very much and would like to thank Annemarie Kempf very much.

Das Dorf Stosswihr bietet einerseits Ruhe, Entspannung und ist ein guter Ausgangsort für Wanderungen in den Vogesen (z.B. ab dem Col de la Schlucht); andererseits liegt es unweit von Colmar und den zahlreichen Fachwerkstädtchen des Elsaß sowie nahe der Elsässer Weinstraße. Die Lage im Munstertal ist wunderschön und erinnert teils an die Voralpen. Ein Besuch im Museum des Maison du Fromage ins Gunsbach, wo sich alles um die Herstellung des Munster dreht, ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert.
Die gepflegte Ferienwohnung befindet sich im Obergeschoss des Hauses der Gastgeberin. Sie ist sehr geräumig, mit einem großen und einem kleineren Schlafzimmer, einem Wohn- und Essbereich mit einer bestens ausgestatteten Küche ausgestattet, allerdings ohne Spülmaschine (doch das störte uns nicht). Zwei Bäcker sind fußläufig erreichbar.
Unsere Gastgeberin empfing uns sehr herzlich und war bei Fragen stets hilfsbereit. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und möchten uns herzlich bei Annemarie Kempf bedanken.

We were kindly received by the owner. The upstairs is beautiful and cozy. It is super clean and nothing is missing. The only point of attention is, in hot weather it is very hot upstairs. Fan is available.

We zijn vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar. De bovenverdieping is mooi en gezellig ingedeeld. Het is superschoon en er ontbreekt niets. Het enige punt van aandacht is, bij warm weer is het er erg warm op de verdieping. Ventilator is aanwezig.

The house is located on a quiet street. A clearly audible stream flows behind the house.

Het huis ligt aan een rustige straat. Achter het huis stroomt een duidelijk hoorbare beek.
