This cozy, comfortable and isolated cabin (camping pod) is located just outside Appelscha between the nature reserves Drents- Friese Wold and the Schaopedobbe, located on kilometers of walking/MTB and cycling routes. You can use the facilities of camper place Kale Duinen such as toilets, showers, walking / cycling / MTB route maps and Wifi. Bedding, kettle, refrigerator, dishes and simple outdoor kitchen are provided,

From the cabin you can step into the nature reserves for a relaxing walk in the woods or a bike ride. Also, the swimming lake "Canadameer" is within walking distance of the cabin. A 5-minute walk takes you to the gem "the Schapedobbe". This approximately 91 ha. area has fens, sand drifts and groups of trees. Scenically, this is a treasure because of its enormous wealth of plants and animals.MTB routes and the Bald Dunes are within walking and cycling distance from the cabin.
