***New from May 2021*** The lodge features a spacious sitting room with French doors to the terrace from which you have a beautiful view of your private garden and the landscape behind. The lodge is fully equipped, you have access to a kitchen with ample kitchen equipment and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms; the large bedroom has a double bed with large closets on either side and the small bedroom has two single beds with wall cabinets above the beds. The bathroom has a sink and walk-in shower. The toilet is in a separate room. The Lodge's garden is completely enclosed and offers lots of privacy. This lodge is rustic and warmly decorated. Pets are not allowed in this accommodation.
Nature and surroundings
With the Oosterscheldekering at one end of the island and the Watersnoodmuseum at the other, Schouwen-Duiveland is inextricably linked to the sea. Het huisje was voor 4 personen.
Het bankje in het huisje daar konden maar twee personen op zitten.
Voor de comfort zou een tweede of ruimere bank een mooie aanvulling zijn.
De twee eenpersoons bedden in het kamertje vonden wij krap.
Beide normaal gewicht en lengte.
Deze bedden zijn meer geschikt voor kinderen.
Op de website van de eigenaren kun je keuze maken uit meerdere huisjes en daar kan je ook kiezen uit grotere bedden.
Dit zag ik helaas achteraf!
Maar voor twee nachten was het goed te doen:)
We hadden de mazzel dat het erg warm was dus we konden genieten van het prachtige strand wat in de buurt was!
In het huisje was het daardoor wel zéér warm. ( ondanks genomen maatregelen)
Een airco voor deze warme dagen is daarom geen overbodige luxe!
