The characteristic railroad cottage has been converted into an attractive gîte, where you will find everything you need for a short or longer vacation, all year round. On the ground floor you will find a hallway with toilet, a small sitting room with TV/DVD and Wifi, a spacious dining room with fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with spacious walk-in shower. The old wooden staircase leads to the second floor with 2 spacious bedrooms. In both rooms are 2 comfortable box spring beds (90-200 cm) prepared for you. In the living room there is a cozy pellet stove. The bathroom and living room have electric heating. In the large (fenced) garden is a good place. Hours lazing in the hammock or with a book under the parasol. In short, an ideal place to unwind!

In the picturesque village of Chaillac-sur-Vienne, time stands still. Nestled among the green hills of the Limousin, it breathes the tranquility so typical of the French countryside. Surrounded by meadows, our former signalman's cottage lies at the end of a dead-end road. The few commuter trains that pass during the day indicate the rhythm of the days that glide by. Let yourself be carried along the many winding roads, past sleepy villages and the numerous lakes and rivers that dot the area. The forests you pass are dominated by tame chestnut trees and in the meadows sheep and caramel brown cows graze peacefully. The town of St. Junien is 3.5 km away. Here you will find everything you need in terms of bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, stores and tourist information.
