Always wanted to sleep in a dike house? This cozy dike house is located in Nederhemert, in the beautiful Bommelerwaard, near the dammed up river Maas and overlooking the water. Fifteen minutes away (40 minutes by bike) is the beautiful fortified town of Zaltbommel. But also the attractive town of Heusden is in the vicinity, where you can take two ferries across. The nature house is cozy, compact and complete. You rent it just for yourself and it has a bathroom, kitchen, a double bed, dining table and a sitting area. Next to the cottage you can sit outside and watch the sun set while enjoying a cool drink. If it is very hot, the beech tree provides the necessary shade. The dyke house is surrounded by grassland, trees and water. The neighbor's chickens visit regularly, scavenge on the property and return at the end of the day and perch in the walnut tree. There are also many (water) birds.
Nature and surroundings
From the dike house wonderful walks and bike rides can be taken. Right next to the dike house runs Klompenpad Hamariti, a beautiful route of 10 km (expandable with 6 km to Nederhemert-Zuid) in the beautiful countryside of Nederhemert-Noord with its rich cultural history. Walking through the catchment area of the Meuse with wheels, quays, a remnant of an entrenchment and an impressive castle. There are no less than four wooden shoe paths to be found in the Bommelerwaard. But there are also many bicycle routes where the long-distance bicycle route Maasroute also runs past the cottage. In short, a beautiful natural environment with dikes, floodplains and historic towns.

Het is gezellig ingericht en van alle comfort voorzien. We konden ook heerlijk buiten zitten met uitzicht op de uiterwaarden
