Nature house in Houtigehage

This cottage is a lovely place to relax. Within 30 minutes by car, you can reach Leeuwarden, Groningen, or the Drents-Friese Wold National Park. It’s an ideal base for exploring Friesland.
The cottage itself is equipped with most modern conveniences. If you’re visiting in the spring or fall, it can still get a bit chilly in the evenings.
Since you sleep upstairs on the (open) loft, which has no window, it can get a bit warm there at night if you don’t turn off the heater in time.

Please note that the bed is slightly less suitable for taller people. This also applies to the bathroom, where the door barely closes if you have long legs. The kitchen, toilet, and shower are fine, but the sink in the bathroom is very small and not very practical to use.

Otherwise, this cottage is a great place to stay. Highly recommended for two people.

It's a really lovely area with plenty of nature and peace and quiet.

A lovely cottage with a beautiful view. Nice and private, with a pleasant outdoor area. We had a wonderful time and did a lot of biking.

A beautiful, spacious house with everything you need. It was quite cool during the hot days, but we did set up a fan by the bed.

We did have a bit of a problem with flies, but that didn't ruin our vacation!
There's so much to do in the area!
Boating, kayaking, hiking, biking, exploring the town, enjoying good food...

Varen, kajakken, wandelen, fietsen, stadje doen, lekker eten...

Awesome! Highly recommended for couples.

Zalig! Een echte aanrader voor een koppel.
