Cycling Hiking

This semi-detached cottage was formerly a horse stable. This charming 30-square-meter cottage consists of a ground floor and a first floor. You’ll sleep under the wooden roof; the cottage features a bathtub (150x70 cm) and a separate shower, a kitchen with an oven/combo microwave, an induction cooktop, and a dishwasher, as well as a (smart) TV and Wi-Fi. Canal Digitaal gives you access to many TV channels. The nature house is located on a property that also features three other cottages. Through French doors (with screen doors), you can step out into your private, south-facing garden. You can also relax on the shared terrace or by the large fire pit. You have a private parking spot right outside the door. We have one 22 kW (dynamic) charging station for four cottages (you’ll need to use your own card and charging cables; this is paid charging). Not suitable for children or dogs. Bookable for one week during high season and for a minimum of three days during low season. The beds are made up, and we provide towels, tea towels, tea, coffee pods, milk, and sugar.

Nature and surroundings

We’re tucked away from the tourist crowds. We live on a secondary road in the countryside, surrounded by fields. It’s quiet. Half of our property is a forest where pheasants and buzzards roost. Horses graze in the fields around us. There are hiking trails and bike route junctions right from our house. The beach is 2.5 km away. Walcheren has a lot to offer. We can tell you where to gather oysters, where to go on a seaweed excursion, and where to find the seals. Middelburg, Vlissingen, and Zoutelande are 5 and 7 km away from us, respectively.
