A beautiful piece of Gelderland amid the rice ridge area where the Rhine enters the Netherlands within walking distance and the old Rhine and old Waal are often accompanied by idyllic dikes. These dikes are reminders of past dike breaches. The area is ideally suited for cyclists and hikers. Just steps away is the recreational lake the Bylandt where one can swim, fish, canoe. Let yourself be surprised along old river corridors, by the silence and beauty where bird lovers will be delighted. Beavers are often spotted in this area, you just have to follow the vorrat tracks. The cottage is located about 2 km from the German border. At about 1.5 km is a cozy quay along the Rhine with nice restaurants and terraces. Arnhem and Nijmegen half an hour away.
