Nature house in Geesteren

Welcome to this B&B in the countryside near Geesteren, Gelderland, close to Borculo. A cozy and inviting vacation home surrounded by meadows near the beautiful village of Geesteren in the Achterhoek region. This nature house, with its own entrance and views of the meadows, offers a sense of space, tranquility, and privacy. It features 2 bedrooms with double beds and private bathrooms, as well as a fully equipped living room and kitchen, making it ideal for a longer stay with 4 people. The entire cottage has underfloor heating, and one bathroom is extra spacious to accommodate wheelchair users. All rooms are on the ground floor! You can park on the property and store your bicycle in a locked area. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Kitchen with induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher; patio with awning; TV; Wi-Fi (free); Washer and dryer (for a fee). We provide bed linens and towels, and your bed will be made upon arrival.

Explore the Achterhoek’s bocage landscape—with its meadows, old oak-lined avenues, and protected nature reserves—on foot or by bike in the immediate vicinity. Borculo and Lochem are easily accessible by bike and offer a variety of shops, supermarkets, and dining options. Just 500 meters from the B&B, you can join the “klompenpad” trail, which is about 12 km long but can also be extended. In the surrounding area, you can also plan a walking or cycling tour—or have one planned for you—along the Berkel River, the Beekvliet estate, and the areas around Borculo, Geesteren, Gelselaar, and Diepenheim. In Borculo, which hosts a small weekly market on Wednesdays, you can visit the Crystal Museum and the Firefighting Museum, among other attractions. The Zwillbrocker Venn is also within reasonable distance by bike or car; this nature reserve just across the border with Germany is known for the flamingos that live there.
