Welcome to The Green Escape, our oasis of peace, space and greenery where you can recharge, sleep and refuel. The forest cottage is cozy and tastefully decorated. There is no wifi, but there are squirrels. There is no television, but it is lovely to read a book or magazine there, whether in the hammock or not. The cottage is best suited for two people, but you could sleep up to three. Indeed, in addition to the spacious bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200cm) we also have a sofa bed (140 x 200cm unfolded). The bedroom is (just) big enough to put a baby bed. Bed linen and towels are provided. There are several games, records and books in the cottage. Wake up and head straight into the woods for a brisk walk. Sit musing with a cup of coffee in the rocking chair on the porch or in the hammock in the garden. Put on an album and read a book on the couch next to the stove.

The forest cottage (39m2) borders the edge of the largest forest in the Netherlands and is located on a small park (with a total of 14 cottages). You can walk for hours from here, it is even possible to walk as far as Arnhem through the forest.The cottage and its surroundings are idyllic, with veranda and private (enclosed) garden. There are two rattan rocking chairs, a hammock and a picnic table to enjoy outside as well. Rest and peace is what you can expect - so please respect evening and Sunday rest. So come here not to party but to enjoy the birds, squirrels, deer and perhaps wild boar. Have fun! NOTE: Our forest cottage is a simple little paradise in the woods. The chalet is from the 1990s and squeaks and creaks. We find that just charming. There is no central heating, but there is a cozy gas stove. Do not expect luxury, but peace, nature and simplicity. Perfect if you want to be outside, less suitable for tall (>1.95m) or less mobile guests.
