Nature house in De Heurne

See above. And the nature in the Achterhoek is amazing. So much peace and quiet, nature, and well-kept farms. It’s truly a pleasure to still be in this beautiful part of the Netherlands.

Zie hierboven. En de natuur in de achterhoek is geweldig. Zoveel rust, natuur en verzorgde boerderijen. Echt een genot om nog in dit mooie stukje Nederland te zijn.

It was AMAZING!! It’s a lovely cottage with a beautiful, large garden offering complete privacy, plus the luxury of a hot tub, sauna, and a pool. Arnold and Leon were really nice to deal with and very helpful. The sweet dog Pommes and the three chickens made our stay complete. Another highlight worth mentioning is the lovely farm shop nearby. We had beautiful weather, so every day we grilled delicious meat with homemade salads and bread. It couldn’t have been better for us!!

Het was SUPER!! Het is een heerlijk huisje met een prachtige grote tuin met volledige privacy met de luxe van een hottub, sauna en een zwembad. Met Arnold en Leon hadden we een super leuk contact en ze zijn heel behulpzaam. De lieve hond Pommes en de 3 kippen maken het verblijf compleet. Wat ook zeker vernoemd mag worden is de mooie landwinkel die in de buurt is. Wij hadden prachtig weer, dus iedere dag op de bakplaat heerlijk vlees met zelfgemaakte salades en brood. Voor ons kon het niet beter!!

We had a wonderful stay.
Fantastic location, delightful spa facilities, a very clean and beautiful cottage equipped with all the amenities.
We also made good use of the record player with its unique (huge!) record collection and the games that were provided.
We were ready for a weekend of relaxation after a busy period.
We were able to do just that here.

The owners are absolutely lovely; nothing is too much trouble for them.

We’d love to come back again in the future.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad.
Fantastische ligging, zalige wellnessfaciliteiten, heel schoon en mooi huisje welke van alle gemakken is voorzien.
Ook veel gebruik gemaakt van de platenspeler met de unieke (enorme!) platencollectie en de spelletjes die aanwezig waren.
We waren toe aan een weekendje uitrusten na een intensieve tijd.
Dat is op deze plek volledig gelukt.

De eigenaren zijn enorme lieverds, niets is ze teveel

After a warm welcome and a brief tour by the hosts (and their menagerie), we immediately felt at home.
It’s a lovely cottage with a beautiful garden and great amenities (sauna, hot tub, pool, binoculars, pickup truck, games, magazines, tips, etc.) for relaxation.
No matter the weather, we felt free and were able to enjoy the garden.
We went on some nice bike rides.
There are good restaurants (15 or 30 minutes by bike) nearby, and the farm shop (5 minutes by bike) close by sells traditional Dutch stews.

Na een warm welkom en korte rondleiding door de verhuurders (+beestenboel)voelden we ons gelijk thuis.
Het is een fijn huisje, met mooie tuin en goede faciliteiten (sauna, hottub, zwembad, verrekijker, pick up, spelletjes, tijdschriften, tips etc) voor ontspanning.
Ongeacht welk type weer voelde we de vrijheid en konden we genieten van de tuin.
We hebben lekker gefietst.
Er zijn goede restaurants (15 of 30 min fietsen) in de buurt en in de landwinkel (5 min fietsen) vlakbij zijn stamppotten verkrijgbaar.
