Nature house in Vriescheloo

The cottage is a detached house and is located next to our 100-year-old farm (in the lee) in the green municipality of Westerwolde. You look out over the vast fields where deer and pheasants regularly show themselves. The accommodation is equipped with many comforts and there are cycling and walking maps available, as well as brochures about the attractions in the region. In addition to air conditioning (heating and cooling), there is a wood stove and, if desired, an electric heater for the bedrooms. Our cottage is not equipped for (small) children, but they are more than welcome. Standard in the double room the bed is made up as a double bed. We can change this to 2 single beds on request. We have 3 bicycles (2 ladies, 1 gentlemen) that you can rent.

The region lends itself perfectly to bicycle tours and walks. The landscape is very diverse, with vast fields and arable land, the river Ruiten Aa winding through the landscape, forests and moors for strolling, cycling and mountain biking. The fortified villages of Bourtange and Oudeschans are nearby, and Appingedam - famous for its hanging kitchens; is a half-hour drive from our location.
