Totally private, not overlooked, and arrival possible any day.At the end of a cul-de-sac, surrounded by 4 acres of land containing walnut and fruit trees, meadows and gardens, lies this adorable cottage, totally private with large fenced garden, and views of the French countryside. The 6-person cottage has all modern conveniences. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a cozy living room/kitchen including wood stove. A crib is available, but for children (2-10 years) this house is less suitable. There is TV with extensive channel selection, a washing machine and well-stocked kitchen. The garden is not overlooked, so you can enjoy the sun as you wish, and there is always a place in sun or shade. Our permaculture garden provides fruits, nuts, and vegetables. Not only for ourselves, but also for you. Just 5 minutes away you will find 2 large supermarkets. The quiet of the campaign, and yet all the conveniences close by. Come meet, enjoy, unwind.
Nature and surroundings
Lubersac is located in the Corrèze, between Limoges and Brive la Gaillarde, just outside the Dordogne. With about 15 minutes drive from the A20, in the middle of the vast rolling countryside of the Limousin, we are easily accessible, 900 km from Utrecht. The name Lubersac means "rich roman". Wealth and buildings from Gallo-Roman times are still clearly visible in this area. The green region breathes antiquity and the typical French atmosphere. In addition to the history, however, Lubersac also has the conveniences of the present time. The village has several amenities such as 2 supermarkets, bakeries, and a pharmacy just 3 km away. Whether you are looking for peace and quiet, or a more active vacation, it is possible because of the bikeability, water sports and hiking trails nearby. However, our cottage is less suitable for small children and the disabled.

Annemarie July 19, 2024 General rating:Beautiful house, plenty of space and everything you need. Upon arrival there was everything and anything ready for us, very sweet! In the area you will find quaint villages, you can swim and on the Vézère you can include beautiful kayak trips. We did not do much walking, but there are plenty of possibilities in the area. The same goes for other activities like biking, fishing and horseback riding, but we didn't. The owners, Diana and Frank are great! They live nearby, are very modest, but are immediately available if there is anything. They can tell an awful lot about the flora and fauna in the area (enjoyment for bird and butterfly lovers!) and give a tour of their land upon request. We enjoyed it immensely and would love to come back again. Frank and Diana, thank you very much for an unforgettable vacation!
Prachtig huis, voldoende ruimte en alles wat je nodig hebt. Bij aankomst stond er van alles en nog wat voor ons klaar, heel lief!
In de omgeving vind je leuke dorpjes, kan je zwemmen en op de Vézère kan je o.a. mooie kayak-tochten maken. Wij hebben weinig gewandeld, maar er zijn voldoende mogelijkheden in de omgeving. Dat geldt ook voor andere activiteiten, zoals fietsen, vissen en paardrijden, maar wij hebben dat niet gedaan.
De eigenaren, Diana en Frank zijn geweldig! Ze wonen dichtbij, stellen zich heel bescheiden op, maar zijn direct beschikbaar als er iets is. Ze kunnen ontzettend veel vertellen over de flora en fauna in de omgeving (genieten voor vogel- en vlinderliefhebbers!) en geven op verzoek een rondleiding over hun land. We hebben er enorm genoten en komen graag nog eens terug. Frank en Diana, heel erg bedankt voor een onvergetelijke vakantie!Nature, peace & environment:What a little paradise! Nothing but peace and nature around you. Lots of different species of birds and butterflies, thanks in part to the beautiful trees and plants in and around the garden, which with much love and care by Diana and Frank has become what it is: absolutely beautiful!!! Wat een paradijsje! Alleen maar rust en natuur om je heen. Heel veel verschillende soorten vogels en vlinders, mede dankzij de prachtige bomen en planten in en om de tuin, die met veel liefde en zorg door Diana en Frank geworden is zoals hij is: absoluut prachtig!!!
