The cottage: spacious and bright, located on the Nobertins estate in an exceptional setting in the middle of the forest. This private estate is part of the Viroin-Hermeton Nature Park, not far from the French border near Oignies-en-Thiérache in the province of Namur. The peaceful atmosphere will allow you to recharge and (re)connect with nature. It can accommodate up to 7 people plus a baby. Smoking is not permitted indoors, and pets are not allowed. We’ve equipped our cottage as best as possible to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, and baby gear is available on-site (crib—though you’ll need to provide your own mattress for hygiene reasons—high chair, changing pad, bath ring, and booster seat). Bed sizes: 90, 140, 160, and 180 cm.

Hikers, this region is perfect for you, with 300 km of trails winding through forests, hills, valleys, and meadows—along rivers, past old quarries, or through picturesque villages. There are several hikes to choose from: Le Fondry des Chiens, La Roche aux Faucons, La Roche Trouée, Le Ry de Rome, and exploring Nismes, Treignes, or Vierves are all worth the trip. Museums, caves, amusement parks… there’s a wide variety of activities to enjoy in the region. You can also take other excursions to our French neighbors.

Spacious house with nice rooms and comfortable beds. Fantastic views of the forest from every window.
One room (with a front balcony) is private and self-contained.
The house is beautifully situated in the forest. We even saw a little deer.
There are cameras by the front door and on the porch. This is understandable, but it does make you feel a bit like you’re being watched.
The house is clean, fully equipped, and even has a cool pool table in the basement.
A great base for lovely hikes and visiting small towns.
Waking up to birds singing on the patio was amazing!

1 kamer ( met balkon voorkant) is privé en afgesloten.
Huis is prachtig gelegen in het bos. We hebben zelfs een hertje gezien.
Bij de voordeur en veranda hangen camera's. Dit is te begrijpen, maar geeft toch een wat bekeken gevoel.
Het huis is netjes, compleet voorzien en heeft daarbij ook een toffe Pooltafel in de kelder.
Mooie uitvalsbasis voor heerlijke wandelingen en bezoek van stadjes.
Wakker worden met vogeltjes op het terras super!
