Enjoy peace, space, and nature in our cozy nature house (100 m²) Our charming nature house is located on the outskirts of the charming village of Oene, in the beautiful Veluwe and IJssel Valley. This cozy house is equipped with all modern conveniences and has two bedrooms: one with a double box-spring bed and one with two single beds. A crib is also available. The cottage features a spacious living room with an open kitchen, a utility room, and a comfortable bathroom. The cottage is attached to our farm, but has its own entrance and offers complete privacy. Surrounding the cottage is a large garden with a private patio. Cows and sheep—sometimes with lambs—are often seen grazing in the surrounding pastures. Next to the house, you’ll find a playground and a quaint little “clog forest,” where wood used to be gathered for making clogs. It’s no coincidence that Oene is known as “the Clog Village.” Well-behaved, house-trained dogs (small/medium breeds) are welcome by arrangement. We look forward to welcoming you!
Nature and surroundings
In the beautiful surroundings of our farm, you’ll find countless bike routes and walking trails, one of which runs right behind our house. The Veluwe forests and the IJssel River (great for birdwatching) are within biking distance—perfect for a lovely walk or bike ride. (Lockable bike shed with charging station available.) For culture lovers, the historic Hanseatic cities of Deventer, Zwolle, Kampen, and Harderwijk (Marius van Dokkum) are worth a visit, as are the charming port town of Elburg and Hattem, home to the Bakery Museum and the Anton Pieck Museum. Het Loo Palace and the Veluwse Bron wellness resort are also just a 15-minute drive away. In Oene, you can visit a working windmill and buy fresh flour. Beautiful cottage, everything you need, super clean and tidy. Greet is a lovely hostess. When we arrived, there was apple pie with chocolates waiting for us, along with a beautiful bouquet of wildflowers on the table!
We would recommend this cottage to everyone!!!Prachtig huisje, alles aanwezig, superschoon en netjes. Greet is een lieve gastvrouw. Bij aankomst stonden appelgebak met chocolaatjes klaar en een heel mooi veldboeket op tafel!
