Enjoy peace, space and nature in our cozy nature house (100m²) On the outskirts of the charming village of Oene, in the beautiful Veluwe and IJssel Valley, you will find our cozy nature house. This cozy residence is equipped with all modern conveniences and has two bedrooms: one with a double box spring and one with two single beds. There is also a crib available. Furthermore, the house offers a spacious living room with open kitchen, a utility room and a comfortable bathroom. The house is attached to our farm, but with its own entrance and full privacy. Around the house is a large garden with a private terrace. In the surrounding meadows cows and sheep walk regularly, sometimes with lambs. Next to the house you will find a playing field and a cozy clog grove, where wood used to be collected for clogs. Not for nothing is Oene known as "the Clog Village". Social, house-trained dogs (small/medium breeds) are welcome in consultation. We would love to welcome you!

The cottage is located far from the road. You get there via a long driveway. The road where the driveway ends is a quiet road with only local traffic (mainly tractors). We sat outside until late the first evening and heard, except the frogs, absolutely nothing. Really quiet. Fine!

We really enjoyed the quiet and beautiful garden at the cottage and the view from the cottage! A very complete and clean cottage and a welcoming reception. We felt immediately welcome! I had initially booked the cottage for 2 nights, but wanted to come a day earlier. Greet responded quickly to my request and the cottage was available, so this was quickly arranged. Great that we could stay here for 3 nights. We were here with two adults and two girls of 12 and 14. The girls also had a great time on the trampoline, playing with the ball on the huge lawn, chilling in and around the house and of course the outings: a day trip to Deventer (1 hour by bike) and a hiking trip with huskies on the Veluwe (50 minutes by bike). Electric bikes we rented from the local bike store and were delivered to the cottage and picked up again on the day of departure.

The cottage was fully equipped, beautiful location and surroundings, nice garden with play equipment that our son was super happy with and very friendly people. There is plenty to do in the area. Only downside of the cottage was the lack of blackout curtains in the bedrooms.

Warm welcome with cakes, very nice owner, everything in the cottage, we really enjoyed! Also nice in the summer that there is an air conditioner available. Many facilities in the cottage for small children! (Bath, 2 high chairs, 1 regular crib, 1 folding crib, plastic plates and cups / trays, toys, playground). We will definitely come back again!

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

Rural setting (all kinds of things on the farms around it), lots of space around the cottage, but also plenty to do in the area.
