Nature house in Appelscha

This nature house represents a wonderful stay in the middle of the forests of Appelscha! The cottage is adjacent to the forest, in the spacious garden you will enjoy your stay in peace and privacy. The spacious garden is fully enclosed with partly high fence and partly low fencing. There are several terraces so you can always find a place in the sun or shade. Inside you will find a sitting area with fireplace and television and radio. The open kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, Senseo coffee machine and kettle). There is also a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, a bedroom with double bed (180x200) and in the living room a 2pers. bedstead (140x200) Parking is available on site. At the edge of the forest is a barn with a roof where you can sit in the lounge set The beds are freshly made and in the winter months is a basket of wood ready for the fireplace.

Appelscha is the ideal base for endless cycling and hiking tours. It is characterized by forests and one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands: National Park Drents Friese Wold. Hundreds of kilometers of hiking and cycling trails and special ATB routes are available to visitors (bike rental within walking distance). There are also special concrete footpaths for those who are less agile or who want to go out with a wheelchair or stroller. For young and old there are numerous things to do; there is an outdoor pool, miniature golf, Outdoor climbing and a gnome trail. A day of golf at Golfpark Hildenberg is definitely worthwhile. There is also something for everyone in terms of eateries and terraces. For a nice lunch, a delicious pancake or extensive dinner, there are plenty of options. Whether you go for peace and quiet, active in nature or prefer to keep it small with young children: Appelscha is great for getting away from it all!
