This nice comfortable chalet is located just outside the village of Dronryp, on the area "Hatzum". Our large yard gives plenty of privacy and space for this, with beautiful views over the green meadows...with Leeuwarden and Franeker on the skyline.... The layout of this nature house: a cozy living room overlooking the terrace on the spacious garden. Well equipped kitchen (no dishwasher! but a dish brush ;-) Bedroom: with a double bed 160-200 with private shower and toilet. Bedroom: with two single beds 70-195 cm. also with own shower and toilet. This chalet has the sun all day, which you can enjoy on your terrace, which is equipped with deck chairs and garden furniture. All in all, a wonderful and quiet base to discover the Fryske lân....

This chalet is located on a railroad line that connects you directly to the cities of Leeuwarden ( 14 km) 10 train minutes, Franeker (10 km) 7 train minutes and Harlingen (18 km)15 train minutes. The beautiful (eleven-city) cycling routes are very varied from here and gives you a unique view of the Frisian landscape. The capital Leeuwarden ( 2018 cultural capital of Europe ) is a cozy student city and has among other things the beautiful Frisian museum and Ceramics Museum Princessehof and the many terraces and extensive catering Franeker is the old former university city about which in the Martena Museum everything can be found, also the world famous, still working Planetarium (UNESCO) of Eise Eisinga is definitely worth a visit, with even the birthplace here in Dronrijp! Harlingen offers you the opportunity to sail to Vlieland or Terschelling. Also Bolsward, Workum and Hindeloopen can be reached within half an hour by car, or by train.... in short, plenty to experience...!
