Experience a special vacation in harmony with nature! Our sommarstuga is situated on a beautiful natural plot with an adjacent forest in the middle of Småland. In the garden you will find blueberries & a small organic herb bed. The Stuga has been furnished with attention to detail in the style of times gone by. Start your day with a shower in the open air, make your morning coffee on the wood-burning stove, relax in the hammock, drive or walk to the lake, fish, pick wild herbs, berries and mushrooms, watch the animals & end the evening by our fireplace or open fire. The house can be heated with a gas infrared or an open fireplace. In the kitchen there is an old charcoal stove, a gas stove and a gas fridge. In the garden there is garden furniture, two hammocks, solar lamps, a barbecue & an extra cottage (toilet). There is no electricity or running water. Water is provided in canisters.

The typical Swedish house is located in beautiful Småland & stands on a large natural plot, without neighbors & with an adjacent forest. There are birch trees, heather & blueberries in the garden. There is a nature reserve nearby. The perfect house to live in harmony with nature, go into the silence & relax. There is a swimming lake 2km from the house and another 4km away. A fishing rod is available free of charge in the woodshed. Vetlanda is about 20km away. There you will find supermarkets, cafés, a movie theater, gas stations, pharmacies and much more. Mariannelund, Bullerbü, Michels Katthulthof & Vimmerby are also easy to reach by car from here.

We had a wonderful two weeks here. It was peaceful, very cozy, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Living without running water and electricity took up a lot of time in our daily lives, but the work also brought us closer together and led to some fun moments. The house is decorated with great care, and cooking on the gas stove worked well, as did the small gas-powered refrigerator. The toilet with composting litter was very easy to use. We washed ourselves in the lake with biodegradable soap, so we didn’t use the outdoor shower.

Gewaschen haben wir uns im See mit biologisch abbaubarer Seife und daher die Draußen-Dusche nicht genutzt
