Enjoy the freedom of the outdoors and the coziness of the city in our Vogeltjesbos! The nature house has a cozy sunny living room overlooking the garden. It is attached to our house, with its own entrance and private terrace. Around it there is more than enough space to relax, spot animals and barbecue.The kitchen is fully equipped. Basic amenities such as olive oil and coffee/tea are provided. There is a separate bedroom with double bed, including bed linen. Towels are also provided.The property is located in a garden/forest of 1.5 hectares, where we are in the process of creating a food forest. Feel free to taste and pick! In addition to this nature house, we rent out a second cottage and a mobile home.
Nature and surroundings
The Vogeltjesbos is situated on a quiet sandy path on the green border between Nijmegen and Malden. Around us are many beautiful innovative initiatives that connect nature and agriculture (Stadslandbouw Kop van Malden). Frederik February 7, 2026 General rating:We felt completely at home in the Roodborstje. You can tell a lot of attention is paid to it. Cozy decorated and everything was there. Lots of privacy. Enjoyed the view of the woodland garden and the squirrels playing. We are hikers and there are many beautiful varied hiking trails in the area.
We voelden ons helemaal thuis in het Roodborstje. Je kunt zien dat er veel aandacht aan wordt besteed. Gezellig ingericht en alles was aanwezig. Veel privacy. Genoten van het uitzicht op de bostuin en de spelende eekhoorns. Wij zijn wandelaars en er zijn veel mooie afwisselende wandelroutes in de omgeving.
