Nature house in Wirdum

This Boathouse is located on the beautiful Damsterdiep in Wirdum (Gr.), on a spacious private property and overlooks a forest. Here you can enjoy the wide and spacious Groninger landscape by the water. Our vacation home has just been completed after a renovation and has a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious sitting area with television, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Wifi throughout the accommodation. Around the nature house is a lawn, (fishing) water and there are two spacious sitting pits, 1 with firepit. There is ample parking at the house. There is plenty to do; jumping on the large trampoline, canoeing, volleyball and there is a closet full of games. The house and grounds are a cozy place for families and families.

The City of Groningen is 20 minutes away by car, there is much to do and see, but also the many authentic villages in the area and the historic City of Appingedam with the hanging kitchens are worthwhile. There are many beautiful hiking and cycling routes in the area and nature reserves such as The Wadden Sea, the Schildmeer and t'Roegwold. Within walking distance are Ekenstein Estate and Rusthoven Castle with a beautiful walking forest. From the province a boat trip can be made to various islands such as Ameland, Schiermonikoog and Borkum. Also worth visiting are seal center Pieterburen, Insektenwereld in Leens, Vesting Bourtange or the highest climbing wall in Groningen. In the vicinity of the house are several cozy restaurants.
