About your Nature HouseThe nature house is located in a beautiful, rural area 8 km from the centre of Winterswijk and Aalten and 5 km from Bocholt. There is a south-facing terrace, a seating area on the side and a large lawn under fruit trees which can be used. On the site there is a small observatory where meteors are observed with advanced equipment. The nights are dark here so that the starry sky can be seen beautifully. For those who are interested: in clear skies, telescopes can be used to look at the moon, planets and stars in the evening. The cottage has a sitting room with a fully equipped open kitchen with combi oven / microwave / grill, 4 burner halogen hob and extensive kitchen inventory. There is a bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and a separate toilet. The beds are made, hand and tea towels: included. From the spacious bedroom you look out over the fields and in the evening you can hear the little owl hunting over the neighboring meadow.

There are extensive cycling and walking routes in the area. Bredevoort, booktown is within cycling distance, as well as the cozy center of Winterswijk with its restaurants, terraces, many shops and the Villa Mondriaan. Bocholt has an extensive sauna and swimming pool complex. In summer relax at the Hilgelo Recreation area or the Strandbad. Our cottage is located in the middle of nature. The deer show themselves regularly and the area is an eldorado for bird lovers with the Korenburgerveen and, nearby, the Wooldse Veen.In the nature reserve at Bekendelle there are five species of woodpeckers, yellow wagtail breeds there and sometimes a kingfisher is spotted. At a slightly greater distance, the towns of Groenlo, Doesburg and Doetinchem are worth a visit. Two bicycles are available free of charge to discover all this beauty.
