Our guest house was newly built in 2020 and fully equipped with all amenities. Through your own private entrance you enter the hall, which gives access to the modern living room with fully equipped kitchen. The toilet is also located on the ground floor. On the second floor you will find three spacious bedrooms, a storage room with washing machine and a comfortable bathroom with spacious shower and sink. And for the enthusiast: in the basement there is a real brown pub - a unique place to socialize! Outside there are two nice sitting areas to enjoy the surroundings in peace. The guesthouse is suitable for up to 4 adults, or for a family of two adults and up to three children. You will stay in our own yard, with plenty of privacy. The price includes bed linen, make-up service and kitchen package. A towel package is available for €4.50 per set.
Nature and surroundings
Welcome to the end of the world - where enjoyment begins! Our guesthouse is located in the Frisian village of Ljussens, in the municipality of Noardeast-Fryslân. The village has only 375 inhabitants: the perfect place to feel the peace of the countryside and recharge completely. Enjoy the space, the greenery and the view of hares and birds in the private backyard. Hiking and biking can be done endlessly here. Fancy an adventure? Go mudflat hiking in Paesens-Moddergat, where you can breathe the cleanest air in the Netherlands. The ferry to Schiermonnikoog departs just 10 km away. Prefer some culture? Visit nearby Dokkum, one of the Frisian Elfsteden.For daily shopping, you'll be in Anjum (2 km), with a supermarket and a butcher.
