As if time stood still...Opening the gate to the Cottage feels like stepping into the past. The charming cottage has been renovated with utmost respect for the authentic character of this small home. The furniture was carefully chosen and each carries its own story. Through the low front door you enter the entrance hall with closet and chair. The beautiful old cabinet still bears traces of a fire on the mirror, after which the furniture was restored in all its style. In the living area you will find on one side a living room with armchairs, a wood stove and flat-screen TV hidden in a rustic cabinet. Even the radio is immediately reminiscent of days gone by. On the other side of the room there is a cozy dining area. The well-equipped kitchen and bathroom have all the necessary luxuries, each in keeping with the atmosphere of the rest of the house. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with two individual box-spring beds. Outside there are two terraces surrounded by a beautiful cottage garden.

This cottage is a vacation home in picturesque Damme. Located between the fields of the Brugse Ommeland and a stone's throw from Knokke, Sluis, Bruges and Damme center, it is the ideal base for a weekend or week of relaxation, cycling, walking, shopping but above all enjoyment. In the immediate vicinity are several cycling and walking routes. At local farms it is even possible to order a picnic to eat on the spot or along the way. The nearby, beautiful Meetjesland is also worth a visit, for example to spot deer in the Drongengoed. On the coast there is the Zwin with its salty splendor. And a little further, just across the border, Breskens where you can even go by boat to visit the seals. For those who want to combine nature with culture, Bruges and Ghent are of course the chosen cities. A stay in this Cottage thus offers you various possibilities to create a pleasant stay according to your own wishes and interpretation.
