Our nature house is located on a hill in Burgundy, overlooking the Morvan. It is an authentic, old French fermette with a contemporary touch: a cozy living room with wood stove, a bedroom with comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with fine shower. In the living kitchen there is a large dining table for long, cozy evenings. On sunny days you can walk, cycle or enjoy the view on the terrace. Is it raining? Then crawl around the wood stove with a book or cook a sumptuous dinner together. There is deliberately no television, so you can really get away from the daily hustle and bustle. A place to relax and enjoy the French countryside.
Nature and surroundings
The area around our nature house has much beauty to offer, although sometimes you have to drive a bit to discover it. The rolling hills, vast forests and quiet lakes of the Morvan are ideal for walks, bike rides or a quiet picnic. A five-minute drive away is l'Étang du Merle, perfect for swimming or relaxing by the water. Authentic French villages such as Vézelay, known for its basilica, and Lormes with its cozy markets and cafes are fun for a morning or afternoon out. For wine lovers, day trips to Chablis, Sancerre or Pouilly-sur-Loire are highly recommended.
