Nature house in Makkinga

We had everything we needed in the cottage. It was fully equipped, making it easy to unwind.

Wij kwamen niks tekort in het huisje. Van veel gemakken voorzien waardoor je kan onthaasten.

We had a really lovely and comfortable stay. It’s a quiet place where you can truly unwind. There’s a garden to enjoy, with plenty to explore. A truly wonderful stay!

Wij hebben een heel fijn en comfortabel verblijf gehad. Een stille plek waar je echt tot rust komt. Een tuin om van te genieten en waar genoeg te ontdekken valt. Echt een fijn verblijf!

Of course, there is always something to whine about; we also watched Bed & Breakfast on MAX. Most of it is probably personal preference. Mattress is a bit soft and a quiet fan not a necessary investment on hot days (in the bedroom). We did not miss hooks! :-)

Er is natuurlijk altijd wat te zeuren, we hebben ook Bed & Breakfast gekeken op MAX. Het meeste is waarschijnlijk persoonlijke voorkeur. Matras is wat zacht en een stille ventilator geen overbodige investering op warme dagen (in de slaapkamer). We misten geen haakjes! :-)

Spacious cottage in and adjacent to a literal forest with some maintained paths, flora and fauna. Clean, neat and equipped with some entertainment such as, for example, super many books and CDs (yes indeed, my nineties love was triggered again effe). TV with some apps and internet is fine. The sitting area, kitchen and sitting area is all just fine. The view on the other hand is fantastic. Especially the early morning was rewarded with the fauna surprise there, walibies by the terrace! They hopping around a bit and doing their thing (eating the flower beds empty and scratching their bellies at an appropriate distance). Very cute, you can peek at them for hours. Further on in the woods cq the garden is a canopy with bench, chairs and tables that makes your walibi spotting comfortable. Above all, bring your bikes to race through the area, gravel, MTB or just quietly pedal. We were very pleased.

Ruim opgezet huisje in en aan een letterlijk bos met wat onderhouden paadjes, flora en fauna. Schoon, netjes en voorzien van wat entertainment zoals bijvoorbeeld superveel boeken en cd's (jazeker wel, m'n jaren negentig liefhebberij werd weer effe getriggerd). TV met wat apps en internet is prima te gebruiken. De zithoek, de keuken en de zithoek is allemaal gewoon goed. Het uitzicht daarentegen is fantastisch. Vooral de vroege ochtend werd beloond met de fauna verrassing aldaar, walibies bij het terras! Ze hupsen wat rond en doen op gepaste afstand hun ding (de perkjes leeg eten en krabben aan hun buik). Erg leuk, kan je uren naar gluren. Verderop in het bos cq de tuin staat een overkapping met bank, stoelen en tafels die je walibi spotten gerieflijk maakt.

Neem vooral je fietsen mee om door de omgeving te racen, gravelen, MTB-en of gewoon rustig te pedaleren.

Wij waren erg in onze nopjes.

What a lovely cottage. Cottage is fully equipped, with a huge garden (with indeed Walibis). Quiet location, beautiful terraces in several places in the garden. Bordering a state forestry.

Wat een heerlijk huisje. Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, met een enorme grote tuin (met inderdaad Walibi’s). Rustig gelegen, mooie terrassen op meerdere plekken in de tuin.
Grenzend aan een staatsbosbeheer bos.
