Hidden behind rhododendrons is our guest cottage completely private. The cottage is surrounded by the greenery of our 1 acre lush woodland garden and overlooks our own forest. This is where nature comes to you, both literally and figuratively. A stay in the comfortable guesthouse brings you to a standstill. Experience peace and quiet and darkness. Marvel at the wallabies that have their home in this area and in our garden. The cottage has a cozy living room, a spacious double bedroom with Tempur mattresses, a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen has a refrigerator, a two-burner stove, coffee machine and all kitchen utensils. The relaxation room with single bed has its own toilet, shower and sauna (sauna to be booked on site). Makkinga is located in the southeast corner of Friesland, at the intersection of the border of Drenthe and Friesland. Nature, peace & environment:We were here for the 3rd time, and for good reason of course! This house is so nice, it is quiet and you can walk so beautifully in the area. We can relax into the new year!
