Nature house in Gaastmeer

The campground has three cabins. This log cabin is one of them. The small farm campsite is located directly on the Frisian lakes, namely the Fluessen and the Heegermeer. You can enjoy swimming, sailing, supping, etc. From the log cabin there is a beautiful view over the Frisian distance. For the children there are many playgrounds. Inde barn is a ping pong table and a soccer table and we have a large fleet of go-karts. In the middle of the campsite is a playground with a large trampoline. A few important things to know. Almost everything for cooking is provided. Showers and toilets can be found in the campsite's toilet block. There are wonderful mattresses, pillows and comforters but you must bring your own bedding. Kitchen linen is provided. (A sheet set can also be rented. You can indicate this in your reservation.) The log cabin has a jerry can with a tap for water.

The 3 log cabins are located at the edge of the campsite with all of them having a beautiful view. In the early morning sometimes a hare will scurry by and there are many different birds to admire. Dogs are allowed but not off leash. For that we have set aside a large piece of meadow where they can run around endlessly. Our small, farmers nature campsite is situated on the edge of Gaastmeer, a small, typical Frisian village and still a bit of a public secret.
