Nature house in Batenburg

This Nature House is located in the picturesque town of Batenburg. The house overlooks the floodplains of the river Maas and the small harbor. This vacation home is attractively furnished and lends itself to a comfortable stay for 2 persons. If necessary, a baby bed can be added. The house is painted gray-green, making it blend in with the surrounding nature. Through the separate hallway, where a separate toilet is located, you walk into the spacious living room / kitchen. Your eye immediately falls on the beautiful view. Through the large windows you can see the meadows, the forelands and the Meuse. On the veranda you can enjoy this even more. Also of the amazing sunrise! There is a separate bedroom with a comfortable double Auping bed and separate bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There is also a small washing machine.

This unique spot on the Meuse River lends itself to long walks along the river or in the land of Meuse and Waal. There are numerous bicycle tours in the area. Via the ferries you can easily drive into the southern province of North Brabant. It is wonderful cycling and walking along the winding dikes. The famous Appeltern Gardens are within walking and cycling distance. In the summer you can swim in a tributary of the river Maas. The sandy beach is 500 m. from the cottage. Behind the small Veerhuis is a beautiful walnut tree that provides wonderful shelter in the summer and it is a lovely place to relax after a strenuous day.
