This nature house is located on the edge of the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve, at the edge of the forest, with a view across the valley toward Bad Kleinkirchheim. It features a lower level (with an exit to the outside) that includes a double bedroom, a living room with a kitchenette and a double sofa bed, and a bathroom with a toilet. A staircase leads to the first floor (which also has an exit to the outside), featuring a bathroom, a separate toilet, a bedroom with two single beds, and a living room with an open kitchen and a balcony. A staircase leads to the loft, which features two single-bed sofa beds and another separate bedroom with a double bed. Both living rooms have a wood stove. The upstairs kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, and microwave. In the stairwell leading to the lower level, there is space to store skis, and there is a laundry room with a washing machine. The tourist tax will increase to €4.50 per person per night starting November 1, 2026 (applies to all of Carinthia).
Nature and surroundings
The detached chalet is located on the mountain along a private road and serves as an excellent base for hiking, mountain biking, (tour) skiing, or trips to one of the many lakes or charming villages and towns in Carinthia. A BBQ is available in the garden. From the house, you can walk or bike into the forest toward Brunnach, Falkert, or Mallnock in just a few minutes. The gondola to Brunnach is 800 meters away. In winter, it’s recommended to bring snow chains, even though the snow is plowed, due to the property’s location on a slope. Next to the house is a carport for one car. Along the property line, there’s space for up to one additional car. There are a few restaurants in St. Oswald (some are closed during the off-season). A wide variety of dining options and two supermarkets are available in Bad Kleinkirchheim, 5 km away. In the summer, several lakes suitable for water sports—including Milstatter See—are just a 20-minute drive away. The Brunnach gondola is connected to the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area, which features 110 km of slopes.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:

• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
