Nature house in Vorden

The wooden nature house is an original Austrian log house built of sturdy logs. It stands amidst tall trees on a large open playing field. In the evening, when you enjoy the flames from the lovely A++ wood stove, you imagine yourself in a distant land. Under the large canopy in summer, you can enjoy the large comfortable outdoor sofa. When evening falls it is whisper quiet and pitch dark. In short; a place where you can relax and get in touch with nature. ECO-COMFORT'' has a complete kitchen with dishwasher. There are fine beds with sheep's wool comforters, wool blankets, eco-toppers, sheets and towels made of organic cotton. The shower water is heated by the sun and electricity generated by solar panels. There is good internet but no TV (but games). And how fun is it to bake pizza together on the wood fire of the outdoor pizza oven! For children there is a sturdy double outdoor swing and a wooden sandbox.

"We live in a fairytale forest!" my two grandchildren from the big city exclaim enthusiastically. That is exactly why we bought this lovely forest plot of 2,000m2 in the coulisse landscape of the Achterhoek. With two beautiful houses for the whole family to be together in nature. The charm of the houses is that they are both very much on their own with their own large garden. It is bordered on three sides by the beautiful forest with ancient trees. On the sunny side is a rolling wheat field with the eight-castle village of Vorden on the horizon. It is wonderful walking and cycling in the wonderful nature. Information about routes, the authentic villages and the beautiful Hanseatic towns in the coulisse and river landscape invites you to do all kinds of things together. There is also a tourist office in Vorden. Within walking distance is the biodynamic care farm Urtica De Vijfsprong. There one can buy everything to fill the pantry with healthy and vital food.
