Nature house in Couvin

A fully restored small castle with spacious rooms, including a separate smoking room with a fireplace. One bathroom features a shower stall, and another has a single shower. The property includes a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and a large, bright living area. Large terraces with a BBQ and lounge chairs. Set in a vast garden with a hot tub. A vegetable garden and chickens provide you with fresh, seasonal produce. The property is thoroughly ventilated, cleaned, and disinfected after each stay. Upon request, we’ll fill the hot tub with fresh water for you, but we don’t heat it because this is a unique experience. We’ll provide firewood for you. The nature house’s garden offers you the opportunity to enjoy a fire pit together or separately, choose a spot in the sun, play a game in the garden, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. The garden itself is an oasis of peace and nature. But all around it lie the unspoiled forests of Chimay and Couvin. A walk at dusk might bring you face-to-face with a deer or a wild boar. There are also the lakes of Lac des Vieilles Forges, where you can enjoy water sports or simply relax by the water’s edge. The many small paths offer plenty of opportunities for hiking or biking through the woods and along the fields. Scourlemont Abbey, an oasis of tranquility where the time-honored Chimay beer was once brewed, the Caves of Neptune, and the Mariembourg steam train… are just a handful of the attractions this region has to offer. This region isn’t overrun by mass tourism, but there’s something fun for everyone to do, from a retro café to a waterfront restaurant… in short, a pleasant setting to enjoy some peace and quiet with friends or family.
