Our nature house is beautifully situated on the edge of the Drents Friese Wold. You literally walk from your backyard into the forest. Also from the room you have a beautiful view over the nearby nature. The spacious house has a neat kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. Fiber optic internet provides good wifi and TV reception. The bathroom has a bath/shower combination and there is a separate toilet. The three bedrooms have a double bed. Two single beds (which can be placed together if necessary) and a bunk bed. Josee December 26, 2025 General rating:Cozy and well cared for house. Fully equipped, good beds, a nice bath and a fully equipped kitchen. The garden is very well fenced and the forest is around the corner. Ideal for our dog. We were there to avoid the fireworks in our town and that worked out fine. Some carbide shooting nearby on New Year's Eve but almost no fireworks heard! In Appelscha and Oosterwolde are plenty of stores and supermarkets. Also visited camp Westerbork, very impressive, we had a wonderful vacation.
Gezellig en goed verzorgd huis. Van alle gemakken voorzien, goede bedden,een fijn ligbad en een compleet uitgeruste keuken. De tuin is zeer goed omheind en het bos ligt om de hoek. Ideaal voor onze hond. Wij waren er om het vuurwerk in onze stad te ontlopen en dat is prima gelukt. Wel wat carbidschieten in de buurt op oudjaarsdag maar bijna geen vuurwerk gehoord!
In Appelscha en Oosterwolde zijn voldoende winkels en supermarkten aanwezig. Ook een bezoek gebracht aan kamp Westerbork, zeer indrukwekkend.
