Nature house in Middelburg

We suffered a lot from a ticking boiler, the landlord knew the problem and is going to fix it, unfortunately for us very disturbing.

We hebben veel last gehad van een tikkende verwarmingsketel, de verhuurder kende het probleem en gaat het oplossen, helaas voor ons heel storend.

The back of the cottage looked out over meadows, the front is on a busy road which in my opinion does not really belong in a nature house! The cottage can be reached via a rather unlit and slippery path. The cottage itself was fully equipped.

De achterkant van het huisje keek uit over weilanden, de voorkant ligt aan een drukke weg wat m.i. niet echt hoort bij een natuurhuisje!
Het huisje is te bereiken via een vrij onverlicht en glibberig pad.
Het huisje zelf was van alle gemakken voorzien.

Friendly reception, a well equipped cottage with all the trimmings, and in an ideal location with beautiful views.In terms of cleaning and hygiene could be better. There is a musty smell in the cottage that does not disappear when you open the door. In the bathroom there is a strange smell, there are dirty joints in the shower, and moldy smelling towels. There were cobwebs everywhere in the cottage, the kitchen cabinets were sticking inside and some glasses were caked to the cabinet. Unfortunately, the second terrace was not really accessible because it was overgrown with a hedge, and also further in the cottage was quite a bit of overdue maintenance. For us a reason to look for another cottage next year Zealand.

Vriendelijke ontvangst, een goed uitgerust huisje met alles er op en er aan, en op een ideale locatie met mooi uitzicht.

Qua schoonmaak en hygiëne kan het beter. Er hangt een muffe geur in het huisje die niet verdwijnt wanneer je de deur open zet. In de badkamer hangt een vreemde lucht, zijn er vieze voegen in de douche, en schimmelig ruikende handdoeken. Overal in het huisje hingen spinnenwebben, de keukenkastjes plakten van binnen en sommige glazen zaten aangekoekt aan het kastje.

Het tweede terras was helaas niet echt toegankelijk want deze was volgroeid met een heg, en ook verder in het huisje was best wat achterstallig onderhoud.

Voor ons een reden om volgend jaar Zeeland op zoek te gaan naar een ander huisje.

The cottage is in a good location, close to the center, and close to the beach and nature. The cottage itself is quiet with a beautiful view, however, it is located on a busier road so you almost constantly hear wrong. Not very disturbing, but not total silence. On the pictures it looks like the cottage is alone in a yard on a meadow but there are 2 other cottages. The terrace where you can sit is enclosed so you can not enter the meadow and nature. For us a minus point.

Het huisje ligt op een goede locatie, dichtbij het centrum, en dichtbij strand en natuur. Bij het huisje zelf is het rustig met een prachtig uitzicht, echter ligt het wel aan een wat drukkere weg waardoor je vrijwel constant verkeerd hoort. Niet héél storend, maar geen totale stilte.

Op de foto's lijkt het alsof het huisje alleen op een erf staat aan een weiland maar er staan 2 andere vakantiehuisjes. Het terras waarop je kunt zitten is ingesloten dus je kunt het weiland en de natuur niet in. Voor ons een minpuntje.

Over algemeen goed al waren er een paar punten die beter konden
Douchekraan lekte was reeds hersteld geweest met silicone en dit was niet goed gedaan
Gasvuur bedieningsknoppen waren ook niet veilig gemaakt deze draaide door op de stang
Miste een microgolfoven

Op het terras was het ook rustig enkel de toegang tot mijn huisje liep samen met het andere huisje als de mensen buiten zaten te genieten vond ik het hinderlijk om dan te passeren
