Nature house in Usquert

Welcome to our beautiful polder environment! Here on the Oude Dijk in the middle of nature is our Nature House. In the nostalgic front end is the vacation home, which on the inside is equipped with all conveniences. The house was recently renovated in a modern-country style and the durable insulation makes it nice and warm even in winter. The nature house has its own entrance and garden. For sun worshippers there is a deck in the old farm canal, but if you prefer a little shade, you can cool down on the terrace under the old chestnut tree. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, two with double beds and the third with a single bed, there is a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet, a modern kitchen with French windows, so that the outdoor feeling comes inside. There is storage space for all your belongings and washing or drying is not a problem either. Want to spend an evening watching movies? Of course you can with the flat-screen TV in the spacious living room.

No matter which window you look out, you will always see the beautiful nature, but you are also just a stone's throw away from the picturesque village of Usquert, with its beautiful country houses, the famous Berlage house, the beautiful church and the mill Eva. There is a bike path in front of the door, a hiking trail behind the house and ov connection with train and bus within walking distance. It doesn't get any better than that, does it? Oh yes, you can also charge your electric car or bike for free in our parking lot or in the bicycle shed.Do you want a nice day out? The German island of Borkum is quickly reached via the Eemshaven by train and boat or you take the train the other way, to be in the heart of the city of Groningen in 30 minutes. You can take a day trip to Appingedam to see the hanging kitchens or enjoy yourself in the nature reserves around us: the Lauwersmeer, the Dollard, the Noordpolder with the fishing harbor of Noordpolderzijl in the Natura 2000 area, just behind the dike here.
