The cottage is spacious and functionally furnished. Fine beds that are made. Towels and the like are plentiful. All on one level except for the steps in the kitchen. The cottage is situated on the edge a large agricultural farm and has a rustic feel with views of greenery and water features and water birds. No nuisance from activities or noise from the company itself.Only cars on the provincial road you sometimes hear passing by. We 3 single older people enjoyed this cottage and its surroundings. A flat wide country, beautiful small villages and excellent roads. There is much to see and experience. The old farms, churches that are often open. The smallest tidal harbor is nearby and worth the silence. So is the extreme tip of Groningen with monument and lots of sheep and windmills. Do you want to get away from the big city? Then this house and its surroundings is a must.

Het huisje is ruim en functioneel ingericht. Prima bedden die zijn opgemaakt. Handdoeken en dergelijke zijn ruim aanwezig. Alles gelijkvloers op het opstaptrapje in de keuken na. Het huisje is gesitueerd aan de rand een groot agrarisch bedrijf en heeft een rustieke uitstraling met zicht op groen- en waterpartijen en watervogels. Geen enkele last van activiteiten of geluid van het bedrijf zelf.Alleen auto s op de provinciale weg hoor je soms voorbijkomen. Wij 3 alleengaande oudere mensen hebben genoten van dit huisje en zijn omgeving. Een vlak weids land, mooie kleine dorpjes en prima wegen. Er is veel te zien en te beleven. De oude boerderijen, kerkjes die vaak open zijn. De kleinste getijdenhaven is vlakbij en de moeite van de stilte waard. Zo ook het uiterste puntje van Groningen met monument en heel veel schapen en windmolens. Wil je weg van de grote stad? Dan is dit huis met zijn omgeving een aanrader.

The cottage is slightly dated. Could use some coziness in terms of decoration accsesoires and some innovation in furniture. By putting in a high chair, playpen and crib you make your target group larger. The house does then become more attractive to rent for families. There is plenty of room for storage. We had to take everything with us. It was super clean and tidy, otherwise fully equipped. Lots of closet space in the bedrooms. It was a wonderful weekend despite the strong wind.

Het huisje is iets gedateerd. Kan wel wat gezelligheid gebruiken wat betreft aankleding accsesoires en wat vernieuwing in meubels. Door er een kinderstoel, box en babybedje in te zetten maak je je doelgroep groter. Het huis wordt dan wel aantrekkelijker om te huren voor gezinnen. Er is ruimte genoeg om het op te bergen. Wij moesten alles meenemen. Het was super schoon en opgeruimd.
Verder van alle gemakken voorzien. Veel kastruimte in de slaapkamers. Het was een heerlijke weekend ondanks de harde wind.

It was part of a farm right by the Wadden Sea. Nice villages nearby. We did day trip to Schiermonnikoog. Was very nice.

Het was een gedeelte van een boerderij vlak aan de Waddenzee. Leuke dorpjes in de buurt. Wij hebben dagje Schiermonnikoog gedaan. Was erg leuk.

Nice spacious layout but furniture in need of replacement. Good beds and nice that the beds were made on arrival

Leuke ruime indeling maar meubilair aan vervanging toe. Goede bedden en fijn dat de bedden waren opgemaakt bij aankomst

Unfortunately, upon arrival there was a sewer smell in the hall and the bedroom adjacent to the hall. This sewer smell did not disappear during the entire stay despite all good intentions and attention from the owner. Unfortunately, we had to burn scented candles throughout the stay (day and night) to still use the bedroom to some extent.

Helaas hing er bij aankomst een riool lucht in de hal en de slaapkamer grenzend aan de hal. Deze riool lucht is niet verdwenen tijdens het gehele verblijf ondanks alle goede bedoelingen en aandacht van de eigenaar. Helaas moesten wij gedurende het hele verblijf geurkaarsjes branden (dag en nacht) om toch nog enigszins de slaapkamer te gebruiken.
