This nature house is located on the second floor. In the beautiful countryside of the Achterhoek village of Zieuwent lies this nature house. Between vast meadows and wooded banks stands the farmhouse. In 2018, the nearly one hundred year old barn in the yard was completely renovated. The new 2 person guesthouses are ideally suited for adult peace seekers, cyclists, nature lovers and bird watchers. But also 'ordinary' enjoyers are welcome at this nature house for a long weekend, midweek or a whole week vacation in De Achterhoek. The apartments are non-smoking, pets are not allowed and the changeover days are Friday and Monday. This apartment includes bed linen and towels.
Nature and surroundings
Guests of the house will find another SPAR supermarket, a bakery, an artisan butcher, a café-restaurant and an all-round bicycle repair shop. The presence of an active general practice and a complete sports center with bowling, squash and tennis courts can also be called special, considering the village size. Zieuwent is also known for the large neo-Gothic St. Werenfridus Church, designed by architect J.W Boerbooms which is also called "the cathedral of the Achterhoek." The immediate surroundings of Zieuwent are an eldorado for cyclists and walkers due to the very widespread network of interconnected "Kerkepaden", narrow paths between the meadows along which the inhabitants used to go to daily mass. The environment there are many species of wildlife, birds ect to be seen.
