Nature house in Doornspijk

The nature house is located on the edge of the village of Doornspijk in a private yard. This contemporary cozy nature house was built in 2012 and equipped with many contemporary conveniences. The house has on the first floor a spacious hall with toilet. A cozy living room with the cast iron wood stove, an open kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator and gas stove with electric oven A bathroom with walk-in shower, double sink and washing machine. Downstairs a bedroom with two beds. Upstairs a cozy sleeping loft for 2 people. Beds are made and kitchen/bath towels are provided. Associated terrace is a pleasant place to enjoy the rural tranquility and the view to the Veluwe Randmeren. There is a covered fireplace with mood lighting and wood stove. The nature house is an excellent starting point for geo coaching.

The nature house is located 200 m walking distance from a protected bird/nature reserve. It is an ideal base to enjoy what the Veluwe and nearby Flevoland offers. On the Veluwe are many bicycle routes mapped out. The Zuiderzeeoute even runs along Lageweg, on which the nature house is located. Bicycles are available. Elburg including its 5 museums and monuments is worth a visit. One of the most popular small Dutch destinations. Walibi amusement park 10 km away. In 't Harde the nature reserve De Haere with its sand drifts. A clearing in the woods and heath where the sand is atomized by wind and water. A beautiful walking area. The A. Vogeltuinen(with the "barefoot path") where you can enjoy flowers, herbs and peace. At 5 km away Nunspeet with excellent shopping facilities. From the Transferium Tower a great view. In Vierhouten "The Hidden Village" (Jewish hiding place) and in Elspeet 2nd sheepfold.
