Nature house in Barchem

The nature house is part of the buildings in the yard of the former farm in Barchem. The former carpentry workshop has a living room, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher. Coffee and tea is available. The beds are made upon your arrival and your towels and bathrobes are ready. The French doors give an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside and the adjacent dirt road. The garden has fruit trees. There are several hobby animals. The cottage is suitable for (small) children. There is a crib, a bath and a highchair. The cottage is amply equipped with children's toys. Pets are usually allowed after consultation. The price is based on a stay with 2 persons with 1 bedroom. When using an extra bedroom there is an extra charge of €10.- per stay. Please indicate when booking your stay.

The nature house is particularly quiet in a rural setting, an encounter with a Ree, Hare, Rabbit or other wildlife is not a peculiarity. There is sufficient documentation available to make beautiful short or long walks. The nearby nature reserves "The Hagenbeek" , "Kostverloren" , "The Rijkenbarg" and of course the "Lochemse" and "Bald Mountain" offer ample opportunities to do so.The Estate "Hackfort" in Vorden has a Stinzentuin a vegetable garden with several marked hiking trails.The "Eight Castles Bike Route" comes along the cottage and the MTB Routes "Achterhoek" loop Lochem Ruurlo and Borculo are very close. There is a possibility to have (electric) rental bikes delivered to the cottage. Also good MTB bikes can be rented nearby.For art and culture lovers Museum MORE in Ruurlo with the Carel Willink collection and the dresses of Mathilde Willink is a must. The Hanseatic cities of Deventer Zutphen and Doesburg are definitely worth a visit.
