This 6-person detached Nature House near the village of Sondel in the small-scale bungalow park on a plot of about 480 m2 (partially fenced). This comfortable vacation home is adapted for wheelchair users. The house is barrier-free, wide doors and (downstairs) an adapted bathroom with toilet. Downstairs is underfloor heating and in the living room an air conditioner for heating and cooling. The hall gives access to the bedroom with a double senior bed (one part of which can be raised to care height) and the living room with kitchen (fridge with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, Philips Senseo Switch and kettle). On the 1st floor are two bedrooms and a second bathroom. These bedrooms also have Auping beds, in the front bedroom at senior height. HRE central heating with underfloor heating downstairs. There are solar panels. Around the house are 4 terraces and there is plenty of garden furniture. At the reception you can rent bikes, bed linen etc.
Nature and surroundings
Nature house is located in the slightly sloping landscape of Gaasterland (Southwest Friesland) within walking distance of the Gaasterland woods with nearby the Bremer Wilderness. Within cycling distance are several nature reserves (Sondeler Leijen, Oudemirdummer Klif, Mirnser Klif and Frisian IJsselmeer coast) under the management of Staatsbosbeheer, Natuurmonumenten and Fryske Gea. Directly behind the park is a cycling and hiking trail that connects to many cycling and hiking routes. Besides the varied natural areas, this part of Friesland has a rich culture. Nature house is on a small-scale park with a reception (limited opening hours). There is a playing field with a swing, climbing house, table tennis table, etc. In May 2025 a natural swimming pool has been constructed. Opening depends on the water quality. Our guests also receive a free season pass of the beach and recreation area De Hege Gerzen on the IJsselmeer in Oudemirdum.
