De Bommelerhoeve, the luxurious and beautifully decorated guesthouse at De Bommelerwaard. We rent out electric bikes, canoes, and a lovely hot tub (which is kept in the sunroom during the winter months). Two city bikes are available for free use.

Just imagine having breakfast with your sweetheart in the garden, while you watch a few boats glide peacefully by on the horizon. After breakfast, you walk out through the garden gate, along the sandy path through the meadow to the Afgedamde Maas. The cows gaze at you sleepily as they calmly chew on a blade of grass. Once you reach the water, you settle down on the little beach. It’s wonderful to just do nothing and enjoy the sun, the water, and each other. Or you can bike or walk toward Loevestein Castle, Woudrichem, Heusden, or Gorinchem.
