Nature house in Sint-Agatha-Rode

As we told you, it was really back to basic.... No problem for us but for our teenagers there was not enough sanitary comfort. The outdoor shower (a cold water bag hanging from the branch of the tree) was too open and exposed for them.

Zoals we al vertelde was het echt back tot basic... Voor ons geen probleem maar voor onze tieners was er te weinig sanitaire comfort. De buitendouche (een koude waterzak hangend aan de tak van de boom) was voor hun te open en te bloot.

It was really back to basics.... Slow down, enjoy, wake up with a beautiful view! The tent was stylishly equipped with everything you needed. The beds were good and nice and cozy close together. The smallest on an extra mattress on the floor, understandable because in a tent with 4 full beds a small cot would not have fit. In the end it was rather cramped but good enough for a 6 year old. He thought it was SUPER! The property was well cared for and you felt that the animals were an important element in all the concept. This provided extra connection in the here and now for the kids but definitely for us as well. You do have to be open to the fact that the alpacas themselves have the choice to seek connection, they are rather stubborn but OH so cute animals! We had also read by others that they found the air traffic disturbing but we found it more of an extra vacation feeling. After a while you didn't even hear it anymore because the alpaca asked all the attention

Het was echt back tot basic... Vertragen, genieten, ontwaken met een prachtig uitzicht! De tent was stijlvol uitgerust met alles wat je nodig had. De bedden lagen goed en lekker gezellig dicht bij elkaar. De kleinste op een extra matras op de grond, begrijpelijk want in een tent met 4 volwaardige bedden had een klein veldbedje niet meer gepast. Uiteindelijk was het eerder krap maar goed genoeg voor een 6 jarige. Hij vond het SUPER!
Het domein was goed verzorgd en je voelde dat de dieren een belangrijk element waren in heel het concept. Dit zorgde voor extra connectie in het hier en nu voor de kinderen maar zeker ook voor ons. Je moet er wel voor openstaan dat de alpaca's zelf de keuze hebben om connectie te zoeken, het zijn nogal eigenzinnige maar OH zo leuke dieren!
We hadden bij andere ook gelezen dat ze het vliegverkeer storend vonden maar wij vonden het eerder meer een extra vakantiegevoel geven. Na een tijdje hoorde je het zelfs niet meer want de alpacavroegenalle aandacht

It was a very fun experience that completely met expectations. The animals running around were very tame and the children got to groom them.

Het was een heel leuke ervaring die volkomen voldeed aan de verwachtingen. De dieren die er rondliepen waren heel tam en de kinderen mochten ze verzorgen.

For us it was just perfect. We enjoyed the nature and all the animals so much. It is the perfect place to have some time together as friends. Kristien is super friendly. A nice person that you feel immediately. She takes the time to explain everything and makes sure your stay goes smoothly. The tent is super cozy and we slept well. Breakfast is delicious and well taken care of. Crockery is good and clean. We made a nice walk along the Dijle. During the night it rained heavily and the tent stayed completely dry. And last but not least: the animals are great. The alpacas, the goats and pigs. They are well cared for and curious. Lovely to pet them. It was a super company. We are not going to forget this weekend.

Voor ons was het gewoon perfect. We hebben zo enorm genoten van de natuur en alle dieren. Het is de perfecte plekken om als vriendinnen even alle tijd voor elkaar te hebben.
Kristien is super vriendelijk. Een fijn mens dat voel je meteen. Ze neemt de tijd om alles uit te leggen en zorgt ervoor dat je verblijf fijn verloopt.
De tent is super gezellig en we hebben goed geslapen.
Het ontbijt is lekker en goed verzorgd.
Servies is goed en schoon.
We hebben een fijn wandelingetje gemaakt langs de Dijle.
In de nacht heeft het stevig geregend en de tent blijft hartstikke droog.
En last but not least: de dieren zijn geweldig. De alpaca's, de geitjes en varkentjes. Ze worden goed verzorgd en zijn nieuwsgierig. Heerlijk om ze te aaien. Het was een super gezelschap. Dit weekend gaan we niet vergeten.
