Nature house in Makkinga

On a beautiful spot, bordering the Drents Friese Woud is the B&B in a 100 year old thatched farmhouse surrounded by a natural cottage garden with several garden rooms and an orchard.The B&B is on the ground floor and has its own entrance. The nature house is a spacious 2 person guesthouse with 2 lovely twin beds and a sitting area. Your breakfast is served in the adjacent dining room. There is no TV, but there is wifi and a well-equipped bookcase. If you don't feel like eating out, but would like some good food, we will be happy to cook for you.

The B&B borders the Drents Friese Woud. A beautiful and large nature reserve is just around the corner. Also nearby is the Fochteloërveen. A very different, but just as beautiful area. And within half an hour you are at the Frisian lakes. An environment for walking, cycling, dreaming and enjoyment in any season.
