Hidden in the rolling mound garden on an ancient mound lies this trendy furnished studio. The former flower studio is 40 m2 with large luxury indoor bathroom with extra large bathtub, underfloor heating, lovely new Auping auronde bed, sitting area with sofa, dining area, kitchen with own cooking facilities, wake up in the morning with a view of the sheep and the rolling terp garden with the old Maria Church in the background. Here you come to rest, all around green and decorated with attention to detail. Often I hear guests say upon entering, " it is even more beautiful as in the pictures. For beautiful silk flower arrangements by Yfke you can see many beautiful things in the rectory or pick a beautiful bouquet as a souvenir .... Outside around the studio we have 2 different seats so you can also enjoy the sunset. For both studios included: bed linen, bath towels, kitchen towel, tea towel, dishcloth, shampoo, shower gel etc. And do not forget a treat with coffee and tea
Nature and surroundings
We live in a small village in the middle of the green in the old Piet Paaltjens pastorie from 1723 , here once lived the famous pastor/poet Piet Paaltjens. Next to the presbytery in the sloping terp garden are 2 beautiful newly built studios .The public road runs 500 mtr. from the studios incl. the bus stop. The view in the studio is great , all around green , meadows and rolling mound garden with the old Maria church in the background. We are 10 minutes by bike from the boat to Ameland and Dokkum. This is an ideal base for exploring the Lauwersmeer area , endless cycle paths along the coast and a beautiful quiet environment .Traffic jams we do not really know here . Schiermonnikoog and the Lauwersmeergebied you can do from here also fine on your EBike (bring your own or rent in Holwerd). The Fryske Wouden is also highly recommended and nearby , as well as the Elfstedenfietsroute is Beautiful. Wolkom in Fryslan.
