Hello I am Monique and am married to Robert. Together we have a son and a daughter. In our spare time we try to be in Breskens as often as possible. Get a breath of fresh air at the beach, enjoy cycling, and do not forget....... delicious food in the many culinary (star) restaurants in the vicinity! Our unique dike house was completely renovated in 2015 and fully equipped. It is very quietly located in the polder just outside the village of Breskens. The sea and the village can also be reached on foot (15 minutes) and by bike (8 minutes).Breskens is a vibrant village where you can find all major amenities. such as 2 supermarkets, a shopping center, many restaurants, terraces and much more! And how about Bruges, Knokke, Ghent and Antwerp or across the water Vlissingen and Middelburg. Too many to mention. Come and experience it for yourself!
Nature and surroundings
Our dike house is located in the middle of the polder. From the house and garden you have a beautiful panoramic view. In the distance you can see the dike of the Western Scheldt. Despite its quiet location, the beach and the village are close by. From the house you can make wonderful walking and cycling trips in the area. If you do not want it you will encounter almost no one. Do you want some more action then you are so close to the village and the sea. Beautiful wide beaches and beautiful beach pavilions where you can enjoy. You can even walk all the way to Belgium on the beach. All in all, endless fun for everyone!
