Our gite is a comfortable detached nature house for 2 persons with a spacious living room with wood stove, bedroom with a generous double bed of 1.60 x 2.00, bathroom and separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all conveniences such as a dishwasher, oven and fridge-freezer. From the living room through garden doors you have access to the terrace with a lovely sitting area and garden with swimming pool.
Nature and surroundings
Imagine yourself in the region of Gaasterland in a totally different waterland of Friesland. From a cliff on the IJsselmeer you can see the beautiful vistas as far as the horizon reaches. Wander around the majestic Rijsterbos with its ancient beech trees or visit the Mirnserklif, the place in the Netherlands for kite surfers. Visit the many small cozy Frisian Elfsteden such as Stavoren, Hindelopen, Sloten or get on your bike. Many forests in Gaasterland were created in the 17th century by landowners who owned so much land that they wanted to forest a piece. This created increasingly large forests. In all these forests are mushrooms or posts that you can follow for a beautiful forest walk or bicycle route. Also the water sportsman will certainly feel at home in Gaasterland with on one side the former Zuiderzee and on the other side the lakes Morra, Fluessen and the Slotermeer. Gaasterland is still one of the cleanest parts of the Netherlands with a varied landscape.

Kees September 12, 2023 General rating:Het huisje is prima met alle voorzieningen aanwezig. Toch slechts een 6, omdat de douche heel erg klein is (te klein) en een thermostaatkraan geen overbodige luxe is.
Nature, peace & environment:Lekker rustig. Erg geschikt om te fietsen en te varen.

Een heerlijke week gehad.Nature, peace & environment:Hele fijne en lommerrijke omgeving super om te fietsen en te wandelen en voor degene die van watersport houdt kan hier ook zijn hart ophalen.

Agaath August 5, 2023 General rating:Comfortabel natuurhuisje, van alle gemakken voorzien, met mooie tuin en zwembad. Veel privacy. Ideale plek om vandaar het mooie Gaasterland te verkennen. De eigenaren zijn heel hartelijk en behulpzaam! We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Een aanrader!
Nature, peace & environment:Natuurhuisje is gelegen in rustige straat en heeft een groene en beschutte tuin. De omgeving is landelijk en afwisselend: bossen, polder en het IJsselmeer zijn heel dichtbij.
