Nature house in Vaux Chavanne

Atmospheric house. Quick action when something did not seem right (wasp nest). Plenty of space. Kitchen was a bit cramped, especially for tall people. House seemed long time not cleaned (flakes of dust under the beds, lots of cobwebs). Due to the low beams in the old building you have to regularly bend down at the doorways but that has a lot of charm. The garden was beautiful! Huge and with temperatures well above 30 degrees still plenty of cool places to find, even in the house because of the thick walls. The activities are about 15-30 minutes away by car.

Sfeervol huis. Snelle actie toen er iets niet in orde bleek (wespennest). Genoeg ruimte. Keuken was wat krap, zeker voor lange mensen. Huis leek lang niet schoongemaakt (stofvlokken onder de bedden, veel spinnenwebben).
Door de lage balken in het oude pand moet je regelmatig bukken bij de deuropeningen maar dat heeft juist ook veel charme.
De tuin was prachtig! Enorm groot en bij ruim boven de 30 graden nog veel koele plekjes te vinden, ook in huis trouwens door de dikke wanden.
De activiteiten zijn wel op ca. 15-30 minuten rijden met de auto.

Great garden. Lots of greenery in the neighborhood.

Because of New Year's Day and the trash that was not picked up, we ran out of space for trash bags outside, with a large group of people that adds up quite a bit. So we took some away to the garbage station.

Vanwege nieuwjaarsdag en het vuil wat niet werd opgehaald kwamen we ruimte te kort voor afvalzakken buiten, met een grote groep mensen loopt dat aardig op. We hebben dan ook wat weggebracht naar het vuilstation.

The cottage is in the midst of some other houses which gives a very cozy feeling. At the end of the garden is a road that leads into the forest. The garden is huge and offers a lot of privacy and is very nicely laid out. We enjoyed the view of the gurgling water from the sitting area in the living room and the playful window under your feet, very nicely done. Lucky to have snow which made for a lot of fun. Luxury of a bathroom at each bedroom and the beds were lovely. Nice layout of the house, nice sauna. We wanted to get away from fireworks, that worked out fine, heard some at the neighbors and further, but not nearly like in the Netherlands. In short, worth repeating.

Het huisje ligt temidden van wat andere woningen wat een heel knus gevoel geeft. Aan het einde van de tuin loopt een weg die het bos in leidt. De tuin is enorm en biedt veel privacy en is heel leuk ingedeeld. Wij genoten van het uitzicht op het klaterende water vanuit het zitje in de woonkamer en het speelse raam onder je voeten, erg leuk gedaan. Geluk gehad met sneeuw wat zorgde voor een hoop pret. Luxe van een badkamer bij elke slaapkamer en de bedden lagen heerlijk. Leuke indeling van het huis, fijne sauna. Wij wilden weg van vuurwerk, dat is prima gelukt, even wat bij de buren gehoord en verderop, maar bij lange na niet zoals in Nederland. Kortom, voor herhaling vatbaar.

Beautiful house, great beds, plenty of bathrooms and toilets. Sauna and Grill house are a plus and makes it extra special. Beautiful large garden! Totally did not experience any problems regarding deposit, fines and ambiguities around this.

Mooi huis, prima bedden, genoeg badkamers en toiletten. Sauna en Grillhuisje zijn een plus en maakt het extra speciaal. Prachtige grote tuin!

Totaal geen problemen ondervonden wat betreft borg, boetes en onduidelijkheden hierom.
