Nature house in Poppel Ravels

Wake up to the sound of birds singing, watch the squirrels while you eat breakfast, swim in a large swimming pond, or fish in a fishing pond. You can do it all at the nature house. The cottage is located on a dead-end street on a 15,000 m² property. It’s perfect for a family vacation with children and grandchildren. When it rains, both adults and children can have fun in the play barn, and Beekse Bergen (20 km) and Efteling (35 km) are nearby. It’s also ideally located for hikers and cyclists, with trail junctions right outside the door. The cottage is furnished to accommodate 6 adults, and there are also 2 children’s beds and a crib. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms, a shower, and a toilet. Downstairs, there is a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring a bathtub and toilet. Additionally, the cottage is equipped with a BBQ, washing machine, freezer, dishwasher, combination oven, juicer, gourmet set, and toaster. The living room features a wood stove, and outside there is a fire pit with free firewood. There is also central heating.

Our guests usually come for the peace and quiet and the beautiful surroundings. There are plenty of beautiful hiking and biking trails here, with many cozy little cafes. The Dutch villages, with their excellent bike paths, are especially worth visiting. We do have a few regular bikes available, but you can also rent electric bikes. It’s best to request them a few days in advance. The hiking trails also pass by the nature house and are very well marked. Thanks to our four seasons, we get different views four times a year. Actually, all four are equally beautiful, and we should enjoy them as much as possible. Here, you can truly unwind.In the village of Poppel (2 km away), you’ll find a small supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, and a fish market (near the border). The cities of Turnhout, Tilburg, Den Bosch, Eindhoven, and Antwerp aren’t too far from here. In 2025, we had to cut down many diseased pine trees, but we’ve since planted small deciduous trees.
