Simple but cozy cottage in a green setting, in our garden! Back to basics but still with the necessary amenities. The cottage has its own terrace and cozy spots in the garden, at the pond and in the spacious covered outdoor area (with fully equipped kitchen, fridge, stove and sitting area). In the cottage itself there is a thick comfortable, luxurious air bed with overlay mattress, wood stove (wood included), electric heating, table and chairs, sink with hot water, kettle, tea and coffee. Eco toilet separate. In summer there is an outdoor shower and tepee. You can cook on the retro stove, a gas stove, microwave or BBQ. Available in the cottage: wood, blankets, candles, magazines, books, games + wifi and internet cable. To bring your own: sleeping bag and pillow (or down and bed linen for rent). Your dog is definitely welcome to play with Yuna and Nola :). It is completely fenced in here.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is in our garden, where outdoor workshops are sometimes held around nature experiences. From May to October there is also a tipi where one can stay. Along the Ijsepad, just behind our garden, you step into the green to the center of Huldenberg with at 1km a bakery, store, sushi, frituur,... There is a lot of green to discover here: Ijsevallei, Magrijsbos, Doode Bende, Meerdaalwoud, Heverleebos, Zoniënwoud,... Only 12km away from Leuven, a nice city to visit with a mix of old and new. Tervuren is a few kilometers away with a cozy center, famous Africa Museum and large park. From here there is a streetcar to Brussels, right through the Sonian Forest. Very beautiful! You can rent canoes, kick bikes and bicycles for a unique experience of this beautiful region: the Grape Region, between Brussels and Leuven. There is a lot of tourist info in the cottage. Easy to reach by public transport: bus stop at 50m, train station at 7km.
